Another 9 Looks for Summer
Part 2 of a self-styled lookbook with everything I'll be wearing through September.

Something else that’s been on my mind this summer, thanks in part to my buddy Junn’s own realization, is that as an adult, it’s easy to forget to “have a summer.” That is, it’s easy to get bogged down in the comfort of routine and forget to do fun, extraordinary things. This next set of looks is an exercise in both breaking my routines when getting dressed and celebrating the things that bring me joy.
Look 10

This is my riff on Robert Spangle’s, and by extension, the Observer uniform. Rob taught me the practical virtues of tucking in your shirt, and I have a hard time not tucking things in these days. The jungle jacket is essentially a shirt jacket, and although it’s an advanced move, the tucked-in shirt jacket is a favorite of mine when done well. I hope I’ve done it justice.
