Orlebar Brown Bulldog Swim Trunks

With a 5.5” inseam, snap button closure, zip back pocket, and side tab adjusters, these are the grown-up version of everyone’s favorite baggies. I had a pair in black that I unfortunately outgrew, but the navy color is a staple of James Bond and Italian industrialists, and is generally regarded as the most classic option. Unlike most other options, these are designed to perform as swimwear first, loungewear second.


Cotton On Baggy Denim Shorts

I was going to put the JJJJound shorts on here but the pricing is outrageous. Just get these Cotton On ones. The fit is dialed in, as are the little details like the subtle, classic branding and 30% recycled cotton denim with a subtle slub texture. I’ve been into a big baggy short lately, especially to wear over swim trunks while grabbing tacos or a sandwich after a trip to the beach.


Yuketen Alejandro Huarache Sandals

I’ve been digging into all of the huarache styles available out there, and keep coming back to this one. Yuketen is mostly known for their riffs on moccasin styles, but with a team of artisans in Mexico, they do traditional Mexican styles very well. This has subtle upgrades like a springy Vibram rubber sole and soft, vegetable-tanned leather uppers.
