Levi’s 517, $25!!

Willy let me know that with the current sale and added discount on his favorite pair [and many other Levi’s styles], you can get them cheaper than vintage now. The 517 is the classic bootcut style that arguably looks best with cowboy boots or chunkier footwear like Paraboot or Blackstock & Weber. I really only wear 501s, but I’ve been eyeing the 517s for a while now, and this is one of the rare cases where I’d actually advocate for buying new Levi’s.

3sixteen Crosscut Flannel, $202

These beefy flannels are on sale at a few spots, but Redcast Heritage has all larger sizes. The rust color is a tasteful tomato-red shadow plaid for that classic lumberjack look. I’m usually on the hunt for vintage Five Brothers and other now-defunct brands, but 3sixteen’s crosscut flannel has been one of my favorite styles for well over a decade now and has proven to be a lasting design.

Haven Helix Pant, $350

Haven sent me a few things from their Fall 2024 collection recently, and while it’s more outdoors-geared than what I usually wear, I’ve found myself drawn to all of their designs—especially these cotton twill pants. Made in Japan, they have a twisted outseam, which gives them a nice articulated, not-too-wide barrel leg silhouette. They’ve become my go-to cotton pants.
