La Botte Gardiane: The Perfect Boot, One Month In
An end to my quest for the perfect all-around boot.
It started in the summer of 2023 while looking at the latest offerings at one of my favorite menswear shops; No Man Walks Alone. My buddy there, @willy.cheesesteak, usually puts me on to his favorite buys during the market week and new arrivals as soon as they come in, but I hadn’t heard of La Botte Gardiane before. What stopped me in my tracks was their sleek Maury moccasin, a classic indoor slipper made all-occasion-ready on a sturdy leather and rubber outsole. I have more than enough loafers, but there was an evident quality of craftsmanship in all of their offerings, so I bookmarked them for later in case I might have reason to reconsider.
